Your new role
The intern will play a key role within the scheduling team, ensuring schedules are executed and coordinating all operational aspects for scheduling that content. You will support with all documentation on Planning tool updates for the MAX EMEA Planning & Scheduling Team. You will also support the managers in putting together the long- and short-term plans for MAX in EMEA to ensure the best possible content offering and roll out in those regions.
Your role accountabilities
- Support the team in maintaining an overview of all content types and ensure we have an even flow of content being released on the platform at all times.
- Prepare for weekly newsletters, and weekly and monthly highlights for internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure everyone is aware of our MAX priorities.
- Help and support the planning and scheduling managers in creating multiple content reports on availability, refresh, expiration, type genre, dubbing status, titles localization, etc.
- Supporting the managers in keeping the content plans up to date and consistently reviewing the weekly, monthly, and yearly roll out.
- Work closely with the WBD Ops team and media supply chain to ensure a smooth and consistent roll out of content plans on internal and external platforms.
- Act as key point of contact with operations and acquisitions when there are delivery delays that will affect content premiere dates to ensure our ingest partners are kept up to date and informed.
- Maintain an overview of specific content type and works with planning specialists to ensure we have an even flow of content being released on the platform.
- Provide volume analysis for assigned territories.
- Close cooperation with localisations and content ops, ensuring the timely availability of localizations (subs and dubs where customary).
- Executing the Scheduling Plans in the schedule System (Distribute) ensuring correct platform, start and end date plus additional metadata fields are correctly filled out.
- Work with the Consumer Facing Program Structure tool and datasets to create, manage and align new and existing content across multiple systems and communicate differences and challenges to stakeholders.
Qualifications & experience
- You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2022.
- Possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Able to work well under pressure, complete projects successfully and respond to changing demands and priorities whilst maintaining a flexible and positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn new systems.
- Understanding of the entertainment industry or media and the EMEA market is a plus.
The internship
- Salary: £27,000
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Start Date: Likely to be 9th September 2024

- Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interviews via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in April.
- Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place May-June.
