The role
Supporting the Warner Bros. Film Marketing team as it manages the development, implementation and evaluation of lifecycle marketing campaigns on film titles across their theatrical (cinema), premium video-on-demand and home entertainment (physical and digital release) new release windows.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the execution of upcoming Warner Bros. new release marketing campaigns as well as local acquisitions across both cinema and home entertainment windows.
- Raising awareness of titles’ new assets such as trailers, posters, and social content across the business.
- Managing title projects as and when allocated alongside marketing executives and managers.
- Writing and assembling film specific presentations, documents, and reports.
- Managing and updating a selection of schedules and reports including tracking the box office and key marketing metrics to aid decision making.
- Working with media outlets and agencies to place competition prizes, managing screening programmes and approving materials in relation to promotions.
- Managing social calendars across a range of titles, both individually and alongside an agency.
- Researching competitor information and tactical film marketing opportunities online in both the theatrical and Home Entertainment windows for allocated titles.
- Financial admin responsibilities.
- Ad hoc admin support including requests within the studio and through partners.
About you
- You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2023.
- A keen interest in marketing and the film & entertainment industry although a degree in the marketing field is not necessary.
- Well organised and disciplined with the ability to prioritise workload and use time efficiently.
- Self-motivated, able to apply initiative and work with limited supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Open minded and resilient to change in an fast moving industry.
Desirable
- Some previous work experience in an office environment.
