Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint two fixed term 0.8 FTE Learning Facilitators to assist in raising standards of performance in English and Maths, in particular GCSE. This post is term time only.
You will be providing study skills support to identified students, or groups of students, who are experiencing difficulties meeting the study skills requirements of their learning programme. The postholder will need to be pro-active, flexible and dynamic in responding to individuals or groups of students as required.
You will also provide support for students who require additional learning support due to learning difficulties and/or disabilities to ensure they achieve their qualification aims and reach their potential.

Suitable candidates will ideally have a degree or equivalent in English and/ or Maths and possess, or be willing to work towards, a Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent. Experience of team working and supporting students in a learning situation, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
