Category Management

The Category Management team helps to build the long-term vision for all of Wayfair, while broadcasting out the set of objectives that are most important to the success of each category. As a Category Manager you would be solving complex problems across merchandising, operations, marketing, and pricing to achieve hyper growth. Being a part of Category Management means you enjoy setting and driving a vision and operating analytically to get results, whilst keeping a hard focus on execution of high impact tasks for your team and yourself. Strong communication is critical for the success of Category Management given the interaction with almost every function and team at Wayfair to ensure alignment is tight and priorities are agreed upon. Externally, we manage supplier relationships, partnering to build sustainable e-commerce strategies with industry leading players and supporting them in their execution.

Partner Desk

The Partner Desk team utilises a tech-enabled, scalable model to provide best-in-class support to suppliers as they manage their business on Wayfair. This highly efficient and entrepreneurial team is directly responsible for driving supplier inbound support, synthesising supplier engagement data that can be mined for rich insights, and delivering innovative solutions to solve a growing supplier base’s most pressing challenges. In doing so, the team enables better business outcomes across a portfolio. Their goal is to help our supplier partners grow their businesses on our sites, positioning Wayfair to win in the online home space in the process.

The Partner Desk team drives critical components of Wayfair’s supplier support strategy - our team members serve as the external ambassadors who support  the supplier-partners that feed Wayfair’s vast assortment, and leverage internal partners to execute our strategic vision of offering best-in-class support to an ever-growing supplier base.

Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding

Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding at Wayfair is the team responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and onboarding new suppliers. This is your opportunity to join our fast-paced and talented team on our mission to conquer the European market by adding the most promising industry suppliers from countries all over the continent. We are at the forefront when it comes to expanding Wayfair’s selection and we constantly seek new business opportunities within our chosen product categories and markets.

SRM@Scale

Our SRM@Scale team leverages technology and processes to deliver a scalable supplier management solution to our entire supplier segments globally. Our mission is to drive commercial and operational performance of these segments by helping suppliers grow their businesses on our sites, and leveraging internal partners to execute the strategic vision to win in the online home space.

Partner Operations

The EU Partner Operations team enables the commercial success of Wayfair by guiding and supporting our supplier partners towards the supply chain set up and performance that unlocks their success in the online market. Armed with this knowledge, we act as trusted advisors to prepare our highest-priority partners to make the right decisions for their operations. We are a diverse, international team of entrepreneurial minds driven by business impact. As Manager, you will be responsible for scaling key suppliers driving the long-term success of a category - solving complex business problems across operations, logistics, technology to achieve hyper growth.

What You’ll Need

  • Prospective or recent MBA graduate with a strong track record of academic excellence (strong preference for quantitative backgrounds: mathematics, economics, etc.)
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically
  • Strong track record of success with progression in level of responsibility and scope
  • Executive presence with ability to clearly and consistently work side-by-side with a broad range of partners and functions from CEO to customer service to deliver against complex initiatives complete on-time, on-budget, and over target
  • Ability to multitask, and pivot readily and react to real-time data
  • Comfortable in a data-driven business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
  • Familiarity with Excel and SQL is a plus
