About the role

This role will form part of the accountancy traineeship within Just Group's Finance department where there will be the opportunity to rotate around a variety of departments such as Financial Reporting, Treasury and Investment Accounting, Expense management, Financial controls, Operational accounting and Taxation providing you with rounded exposure and experience.

You will be supported in achieving a professional accounting qualification and in your personal and professional development with quarterly graduate development sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in running the Finance department’s day to day activities
  • Support finance and wider business projects
  • Develop practical experience to support professional qualification

Skills & Experience

  • 2.2 or above in a suitable degree
  • Genuine desire to forge a career in accounting and work towards a professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Accountancy/ Financial services experience would be a nice to have
  • Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
