This is a great time to join our Planning Control Team here in West Norfolk. We are a large Borough with diverse landscapes ranging from the Norfolk Coast AONB in the north, to the Fens and the Brecks in the South. As part of this you will help balance the new growth planned for the area with the preservation of the Borough’s unique environment and heritage. The role
Your role will involve dealing with a wide range of planning issues and related applications, including urban, rural and coastal planning. With excellent communication and customer-care skills, you will take responsibility for effective negotiation and resolution, ultimately achieving high quality development which supports growth and regeneration, whilst protecting the unique environment and historic character of the borough.
As a Graduate Planner, you will either be undertaking a formal planning qualification alongside gaining relevant experience, or you will be fully qualified with limited experience. You will also join our career progression scheme to provide you with the opportunity to progress to Planner level and, in time, to become a Senior Planner.
