    Love doing rigorous research? Keen to get experience to start your research career? The Which? Product Testing Team is looking for a graduate like you to choose the products Which? will test.

    This entry level role is vital to the success of Which?'s testing and Best Buy reviews. If you're enthusiastic and passionate about doing research and think you can handle delivering high quality outputs to hard deadlines, we'll give you all the support you need to succeed.

    Key responsibilities include

    In a nutshell, this role picks the products Which? will test. There's a lot riding on getting the choice spot on, so the research in this specialist role involves

    • tracking and monitoring product areas with databases of accurate and robust product information from primary and secondary sources. You'll compare and select ones to test, backing up your selections with researched evidence
    • defining and applying the criteria for including and excluding specific products, so that the choice is spot on for the consumer audience we want to reach
    • delivering your absolutely accurate final product selections to hard deadlines as other roles will build on your output as part of their core work
    • doing your own primary research directly with companies while building and maintaining excellent ongoing relationships
    • using trusted and useful sources of market information and intelligence to gather information and monitor key trends
    • working collaboratively and flexibly with writers, editors and other research specialists to get the very best content based on your work
    • as you gain expertise in your areas, you'll also be able to apply your judgement and analysis to scope our wider coverage as well as spotting potential short and longer content opportunities for our website or magazines.

    About you

    • excellent time and project management skills to meet multiple hard deadlines, and keep things on track
    • relevant research experience you've gained in your degree and an appreciation of how you could use it in this role. You'll be good at tracking down information and taking a critical look at sources and the data you're collating
    • comfortable using Excel databases and experience of routinely delivering high standards of accuracy
    • ability to work well in teams, especially collaborating and sorting out issues that might arise

    Our interview process usually involves 2 stages

    • Sometimes a chat with a recruiter by phone (typically 30 minutes), followed by
    • An interview on Google Meet (approximately 45-90 minutes) consisting of values and experience-based competency questions and a role related task on a laptop

    *On some occasions there may be a second interview on Google Meet with values and experience-based competency questions (approximately 30-60 minutes)
