We are looking for an Associate Project Engineer to join our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the project management of innovation / projects and all activities associated with projects. The success of the role will be to ensure that projects are delivered on time and in budget to the Operations function.

The role

You will be working within the Engineering Project Team and will be involved in:

  • Supporting the projects team with innovative solution to complex projects
  • Lead small projects, from concept to handover, managing both their timely completion and within budget
  • Assist in the preparation of capital investment applications by collating the information and producing drawings and programmes for inclusion in the report
  • Carry out administration on the project management systems
  • Ensure all documentation relevant to the project is included in the project file
  • Prepare AutoCAD drawing for components as and when required for specific items as requested by production or engineering
  • Raise the paperwork for the purchase of components and manage the delivery to the business
  • Prepare AutoCAD plant/equipment layouts and documentation as required for each project

Examples of projects we have coming up are:

  • Support for the heat treatment and toasting of nuts
  • Review of jaws and tube capability across the site
  • Installation of cladding and roof and gutter repairs
  • Installation of new staff facilities including canteen and toilets
  • Investigation into investment for coating nuts and fruits
  • Relocation of internal lab facilities on site
  • Installation of new doors
