    We are thrilled to announce we are recruiting for a Finance Analyst position, to join our Finance Team in our Head Office.

    This role is crucial for the accounting and analysis of the monthly management accounts and close timetable. It also involves working across short, medium and long term deadlines.

    Monthly reporting requirements change on a regular basis and have to be delivered in short timescales. In contrast the role also needs to consider annual planning.

    This role will need to provide high quality robust analysis to provide advice, insight and analysis and also use tools and techniques to simply and easily communicate complex financial analysis to non-finance individuals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Management accounting for central functions, including ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and the analysis of risks and opportunities
    • Supporting the Reporting team with monthly reporting requirements, including assisting with the coordination of monthly close process
    • Assisting with the coordination, administration, and follow up of monthly balance sheet reviews across the Finance department, ensuring that agreed actions are followed up
    • Ownership of intra company balances and transactions
    • Providing insightful reporting to help shape and deliver strategies of the wider business
    • Providing monthly ad-hoc financial analysis or reporting as required

    What are we looking for

    • A graduate.
    • Either part qualified in CIMA/ACCA or looking to commence study for one of these qualifications.
    • Keen to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
    • Strong excel skills.
    • Ability to draw conclusions and insight from data analysis.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Some understanding of appraisal techniques (LAROCE / NPV / IRR etc)
    • Some experience of business partnering.
    • Good time management and ability to communicate at all levels.
    • Enthusiastic and inquisitive
    • Hard working and proactive
    • Well organised with the ability to prioritise work.
