This is the ideal opportunity for someone who loves the gastronomy and travel sectors to work with a dedicated and passionate team on a successful, global brand.

    50 Best is part of William Reed, we have offices in Gatwick and London, UK; Montpellier, France; Singapore and Chicago, US. In line with the Company’s current Agile Working Policy, the successful candidate would be eligible to work part of the week from our Crawley office and to work remotely for the rest of the week.

    What you’ll be doing as our Social Media Executive

    Post and Content Creation

    • Copywriting and creation of engaging posts in 50 Best style with different tones of voice for each brand
    • Creation of social friendly visuals, designs and video
    • Small video editing jobs (for example Instagram Stories or Reels)

    Community Management

    • Monitor all social channels including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn; flagging and escalating anything significant
    • Respond in a timely fashion to all questions, comments and messages
    • Proactively seek out hospitality conversations and injecting or following conversations

    Scheduling/Publishing

    • Uploading and scheduling posts using Sprout Social and Meta/Facebook Creator Studio
    • Publishing posts across social media (this may involve some evenings and weekends)

    Events/Travel:

    • Live coverage and content creation at international events
    • Assist in management of on the ground, external photography and videography teams
    • On-site event support where required

    Stat gathering and analysis:

    • Weekly gathering of social media statistics
    • Assist with pulling statistics from events and campaigns for post report

    Influencer program

    • Assist with management of our influencer programme – 50 Best TasteHunters

    Admin/Other:

    • Assist with general day-to-day administration tasks for social and multimedia team
    • Assist with gathering content from restaurants, bars, chefs and bartenders
    • Come up with ideas to increase social media audience figures and engagement
    • Contribute to creative ideation sessions as part of wider Content Team
    • Assisting with trends research for new concepts

    Requirements

    What you’ll need:

    • Professional experience or studied similar area at degree level
    • Strong team player
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Solid written skills
    • Good grasp of grammar and spelling
    • Creative, with an eye for detail
    • Ability to multi-task and manage various deadlines efficiently.
    • Excited for travel and exploring new cultures
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Experience using social media scheduling and analytic tools (we use Sprout Social)
    • Experience using Canva or Adobe programs
