    What to expect

    • You will be working across the entire Heritage function, which sits within Operations.
    • You will form relationships with a wide variety of factory departments, so the ability to build relationships and be a team player will be vital.
    • You will support Heritage Team Manager with technical and commercial data analysis, parts delivery, event planning and implementation of improvement projects. Some experience using Excel and/or other data analysis software is desirable.
    • You will undertake challenging logistical scenarios and contribute to problem solving legacy inventory and software constraints. You will have technical and commercial involvement in all areas of Heritage car builds, from initial assessment to track testing. An engineering background and/or automotive technical knowledge is desirable.
    • This role is particularly varied, you will be based in the Heritage workshop, proactively managing a wide range of responsibilities, so we need you to be highly organised and process driven.
    • The blend of technical and commercial challenges will provide you with a mixture of office based work and physical activity.
    • You will assist at events and travel with the Heritage team, as required.
    • A highly varied and exciting job role, in a particularly desirable area of the business.

    Core Competencies

    Students from a variety of degrees ranging from Engineering, Manufacturing or Business are welcome to apply. Students will have a minimum of two years’ experience at University before the placement starts.

    It is also essential that you should return to your course for a minimum of one year following completion of the placement. We are unable to accept applications from students in their final year of their university studies.

    Core Skills

    In addition to the above, candidates should have an interest in continuous improvement and some project management or logistical experience.

    We also heavily encourage applicants to let us know about any work experience or examples of developing knowledge or learning beyond academic courses. We strive to develop well rounded people with a passion for improvement of both the business and themselves.

    Students that are shortlisted will be invited to attend a virtual assessment day. The virtual assessment days are scheduled to take place in December. We will obtain academic references as part of the selection process.
