    The role

    We are seeking an ALM risk junior analyst to join our ALM Risk team (Funding, liquidity and non-traded market risk). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a central risk team that has exposure to a variety of activities across the whole function with a high level of senior exposure.

    You will be working closely with colleagues throughout the Bank, including senior managers, and across all ALM Risks.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the ALM team in daily and weekly reporting and monitoring of key ALM Risks
    • Support the ALM Risk analyst in producing and monitoring ALM risk measures across bank, using ALM system as well as other sources of data, and supported with appropriate analysis and associated market and business commentary
    • Support in ad-hoc analysis to support the ALM risk analyst as required
    • Document and maintain process and procedures, in particular in respect to the relevant control points and set tolerances
    • Support the ALM Risk team where necessary to ensure high quality delivery of team responsibilities that cover funding, liquidity, and non-traded market risks

    We would love to hear from you if

    • Enthusiastic with a curious mind and growth mindset and willingness to learn
    • Good presentation and report writing skills
    • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a Mathematical, Financial or Technology based subject, or significant banking or risk experience

    It is not essential but it would be great if you:

    • Exposure to financial risk or accounting activities or other regulatory driven project deliverables
