Group Sales team will be the primary internal customer for Product Marketing Executive. Collaboration with product management, commercial and Group Marketing teams/agencies will be equally important.

The role

Working with Senior Product Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager, the primary responsibility of the Product Marketing Executive role is to launch new products and services into the market, drive adoption across Group Sales and optimise both Sales and Customer journeys around new and existing products.

A key part of the Group Sales adoption will be the creation, communication and support of sales enablement collateral and tools. This will entail developing key customer insight, product positioning, messaging, customer journey optimisation and competitive differentiation. Close collaboration with product, marketing, commercial and sales teams is essential.

The individual will also be jointly accountable (with the product and commercial teams) for shaping and optimizing customer journeys, product feature sets and commercial definition by consulting and distilling Sales team feedback and market insights.

The Product Marketing Executive will also be required to support the wider marketing team and assist with general brand and demand generation requirements, such as website updates, social media management, stakeholder communications for event coordination and internal communications via Voila, the Wireless Logic intranet.

Responsibilities include

  • Develop customer facing marketing collateral across the marketing mix (as appropriate) to support launch campaigns. Collaborate with the Group Marketing team to coordinate these launches and campaigns
  • Ensure that commercial and operational implications of product launches are thought through and addressed if necessary
  • Work closely with the product team to develop positioning and product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market while ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy
  • Communicate the vision and value of products to the sales and marketing teams and develop sales tools and training that facilitate the selling process for direct and channel teams
  • Speak and present about products to both external and internal audiences, including key channel partners
  • Develop market segmentation to drive better insight for commercial, product and marketing decision making
  • Consult across other functions to refine the end-to-end product and customer journey with a focus on optimising the customer experience.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Commercial and MNOs to ensure that sales tools for products are kept up to date and relevant (i.e. updated coverage maps, sunsetting services or device certification)
  • Work closely with Commercial Team to ensure Sales people use QuotePro and Business Case processes effectively. Build and maintain a FAQ data base and where appropriate adjust Product and/or QuotePro to optimise
  • Generate compelling, high-quality content for various channels such as blogs, case studies, social media, email marketing and website
  • Maintain the brand's visual and verbal identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
  • Support the organisation and promotion of company events, webinars, trade shows and exhibitions.
