Why your role matters

Working with the Sales and broader Commercial leadership teams, you will be responsible for understanding and delivering the opportunity creation, sales, and client reporting and insight requirements.

The Sales & BI Analyst will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business to interpret requirements and produce reporting and recommendations in a timely and consistent manner. This will support the businesses’ ability to be operationally and strategically effective and inform decision making processes that mitigate risk and leverage maximum opportunity, throughout the opportunity and appointment creation, sales process and client relationship journey.

As part of the CRM team, you will collaborate with the Salesforce development team to enhance the core sales operating model within Salesforce. This role also involves ensuring proper data process governance and maintaining high-quality data standards.

What you’ll be doing

As Sales & BI Analyst, you will work closely with the Marketing team to analyse the effectiveness of marketing channels, aiming to improve cost-to-acquire metrics and secure investment for high-return activities and channels. Your responsibilities will include managing end-to-end data processing from telemarketing to retention and generating sales forecasts based on pipeline data in collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership. You will lead tech-driven projects such as AI insights, machine learning forecasting models, and sales-focused microsites to support decision-making. Your expertise in reporting will enable you to continuously improve reporting processes and Management Information facilities, automating wherever possible. The actionable insights you provide to stakeholders will support integration projects for acquisitions and departments to ensure marketable data is captured, normalised, and reported/segmented effectively.

You will deliver sector and segment insights to identify trends and data points that support effective business development strategies. Additionally, you will create Business Intelligence to support performance management and drive behaviours conducive to business growth. Drawing on your experience as an Analyst or in a Business Intelligence role with CRM systems and databases, you will work closely with the Head of CRM to ensure data quality and governance within CRM and other sales/client management systems. You will support governance around deal quality and best practices from a systems perspective and collaborate with the Salesforce team to drive continuous improvement.

Where you’ll be working

This is a hybrid role (a minimum of two days per week in our Chester office, with the rest of the week remote).
