    Roemex is a privately owned service company working in the global energy sector with around 35 employees. We are headquartered in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire and provide speciality chemicals and consultancy services to the Global Energy Industry. The Portlethen office houses our Operations, Research & Development and Commercial Operations divisions. We have regional offices located in Dubai and the Netherlands.

    Roemex’s business is in the conventional energy sector (Oil & Gas), but our business is expanding into the Renewable Energy Industries such as Geothermal and Offshore Wind. Our business consists of a dynamic team who strive to provide high quality, responsive service and bespoke solutions to our clients’ challenges and projects.

    The role

    We are looking for a Systems Coordinator to maintain and develop systems & processes throughout the company using various systems to improve, streamline and digitalise processes.

    What you will be doing

    • Build custom SharePoint solutions based on user/business needs, creating customs lists, workflow, Apps and dashboards utilising Microsoft Power Platform.
    • Development of systems from paper based to online digital formats, this will require construction of flows, approval chains, listings and databases within MS Office 365 packages.
    • Ensure ongoing development/maintenance of the SharePoint domain, creating sites and pages where required by the business needs.
    • Assist the Systems Lead with coordination of information from various departments and establish a centre for policies and procedures, streamlines systems for a more efficient working environment.
    • Assist with the loading of documents into SharePoint for the Document Management System and troubleshoot issues.

    About you

    • Educated in a relevant field (Computing) or experience in a similar role.
    • Personable, friendly and professional with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and time management skills.
    • Self-starter, with ability to work with minimal supervision, individually and as part of a team.
    • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
    • Experience in working with sensitive information.
    • Experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Powers Apps, Power Automate, Power BI etc) would be preferable but not essential
