    About the role

    Workplace Options have an exciting internship opportunity for a Competitor Market Researcher Intern in our Ealing, London office. This would be a hybrid position with a mixture of home and office working days. The Competitor Market Researcher will be responsible for researching global companies in the wellbeing/employee assistance market. They will collate and present this information in different formats, including PowerPoint presentations and/or Excel spreadsheets that will be shared with internal and external stakeholders to inform audiences about WPO’s product offerings in comparison to other companies.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct research on reputable websites for country specific information regarding WPO competitors in key locations.
    • Collect information on specific data points by competitor.
    • Analyze and compile data into PowerPoint and Excel templates.
    • Connect with internal stakeholders at bi-weekly to share updates on project progress.
    • Utilize both internal resources and websites to gather information.

    Requirements

    • Excellent written communication skills.
    • Strong quantitative analytical skills.
    • Understanding of market research techniques and effective / advanced internet search methodology (EG: Boolean).
    • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, logical, and compelling narrative.
    • Independent and proactive working style.
    • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
