    Your new role what's involved

    • Delivering real world changes to public infrastructure through your designs.
    • Understanding the problems with existing infrastructure, so you can propose improvements.
    • Engaging/leading multi-disciplinary teams to create the optimum infrastructure solution.
    • Collaborate to identify where efficiency and value can be found in our services to clients.
    • Using your creative flair and technical knowledge to create solutions to improve the built environment.
    • Work with or lead our team of talented technical innovators to delight our customers by creating highway transport solutions that improve the way people move around their neighbourhood.

    Your team

    • You can work in multi-disciplinary teams on major projects on the Strategic Road Network, or through our Local Government commissions and through our extensive involvement with HS2. Or you can drive some of our faster turnaround projects to get valuable whole project life cycle experience.
    • With an enviable track record with multiple Welsh Government frameworks, our teams lead the way in influencing how our towns and cities urban fabric can accommodate more active modes of travel.
    • Recent framework commissions with Transport for Wales and SEWTAPS enable our local teams to continually draw energy and pride from the work they do to connect communities across Wales.
    • We have multiple avenues to work on significant National Highways programmes, providing opportunities to shape major infrastructure delivery through the Smart Motorways Alliance, Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) and our growing DBFO technical advice services.
    • If highway asset maintenance is your passion, join our delivery teams working with Welsh Trunk Road agencies in both North or South Wales to experience the reality of day-to-day management of strategic and local road infrastructure.
    • Our experienced and caring group of Mentors will be happy to support your career aspirations and will help you identify your development needs, so you can visualise your next steps.
