Your new role whats involved

Join us for a Summer Placement at WSP and you’ll find yourself challenged in more fascinating and far-reaching ways than ever before. You’ll explore new and inspiring opportunities to make the most of your expertise, broaden your professional horizons and create exciting new possibilities for people, organisations and future generations.

Engineering consultancy

Our engineering placement students work across a variety of WSP teams and disciplines. They work directly with clients to plan and design projects, alongside contractors who carry out the construction. This means consistent communication with the client, contract management, and consideration of the use of materials, environmental impacts, costs and ease of maintenance.

• You'll be studying Civil Engineering
• You’ll be passionate with the curiosity and creativity to identify and solve problems
• You’ll want to stretch and inspire us, speaking up about any new ideas you have
• You’ll want to throw yourself in from day one and put your studies into practice
• You’ll know it is important to keep everyone in the loop and will demonstrate this through excellent communication skills
