    Purpose

    The Global Reporting & Data Analyst for the Planning and Business Information organisation will be providing database support and reporting development for the Service Delivery organization. Analysts will also develop and maintain reporting and process tools in support of existing and new operational metrics and service coverage strategies. 

    This position will also be providing direct support to Technical Service management at all levels for the development of data and reporting solutions while ensuring integrity and compliance with proper use of data.

    Responsibilities

    • Support Tech Service infrastructure for reporting and process requirements.
    • Web development and support of existing website applications.
    • Transition of existing reporting systems into new Tableau and Oracle platforms
    • Consolidation of data from multiple systems into one space with the development of automated processes.
    • Centralisation of Global Field Reporting.
    • Problem solving and data analytical skills using business knowledge and system tools.  Engage for solutions, not task work.
    • Develop tools for providing support for new coverage strategies and channels as they are implemented by other parts of the business.
    • Provide support for internal controls inspection and compliance.
    • Understand and consult on the use and application of Service data and tools.

    Requirements

    • Relevant BA or BSc degree, or equivalent work experience desired.
    • Strong knowledge of  Microsoft SQL Server.
    • Working knowledge of the Technical Service metrics, data and processes.*
    • Ability to gather customer requirements and understand customer processes.
    • Ability to communicate at various levels of the business.
    • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI, ASP.NET, C#, VB, Excel, Excel VBA, Alteryx is desirable.
