    The role

    Assist the Sales Team in developing and enhancing business relationships from an existing client base. Providing targeted reporting utilising our internal CRM system. Ensuring that the CRM is actively kept up to date and completed correctly so sales and marketing opportunities are pursued with the appropriate rigor.

    Ensuring that appropriate and timely information is available to the Group Sales Director and Head of Sales Enablement to assess the effectiveness of any sales and marketing activities undertaken.

    The main focus of the role is maintaining our CRM database and producing customer data SLA reports so these can be utilised to enhance customer relationships and provide appropriate information to our Sales Team to assist with generating new business opportunities for both new and existing customers. Plus providing support to your Territories in developing and enhancing their existing customer relationships.

    Key responsibilities 

    • Attending customer sites as part of installs; assist with training and networking devices
    • Managing regular planned communication with all relevant internal contacts
    • Guiding and assisting the Sales team to ensure that they maintain detailed and accurate CRM/ConnectWise records and status updates which will assist with their Territory Planning
      • Produce reports in accordance to specific marketing or sales activities
    • Provide CRM/ConnectWise training to any new Sales Team members or refresher training if required
    • Maintain the CRM internal training guides
    • Ensure information stored within CRM is in accordance with GDPR regulations
    • Assist with the planning and execution of events, exhibitions, campaigns and promotions and ensure strong and consistent marketing of the ITEC profile
      • Assist with identifying target audience
      • Assist with the sending of invitations
      • Liaising with relevant parties to ensure appropriate internal attendees are in attendance (where appropriate)
      • Assist with maintaining the events calendar
      • Monitoring ROI on events attended
      • Attend product shows and other marketing events to assist with the day to day running of the event; client meet and greet (where appropriate)
    • Assist with customer queries from your Territories
      • Toner/Waste toner (reorder, missing)
      • Chase of paperwork/service agreements/lease docs
      • Production of samples
      • Customer follow ups after installs (days/3 months/12 months)
    • Arrange demo’s with the relevant parties (customers; vendor)
      • Xerox - Smartcentre
    • Arrange POC’s in line with your AD
    • Ensure that your Territories are aware of:
      • New product launches/End of line products
      • Relevant product training
      • Product information
    • Be Brand Ambassadors and ensure that the teams you are supporting are utilising the correct documentation always
    • Provide useful industry/contact research in align with your teams’ territory plans. Ascertaining information in relation to job roles; industry; incumbents; hobbies & interests
    • Typically, contacts will predominately be internal and will include Sales Director, Account Directors, Account Managers and Marketing Executives. There will be occasions where you will be in contact with our customer base which include General and Business Unit Managers, Finance Directors, IT and other Technical Managers, Procurement Managers and departmental users. Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively at this level. The key to success in this role is being able to build the right relationships, uncover the core areas of concern and provide solutions to match individual needs. Key measures of success will include
    • Effective use of the CRM system, which shows that this has assisted with client speed growth for both new and existing customers, via cross selling opportunities

    The person

    We are looking for enthusiastic individual who feel that they have got the qualities needed to succeed in an office admin environment which assists the Sales Department to hit their targets. MFP, IT literacy and an interest in technology driven solutions would be desirable and this should be combined with a keen interest in understanding how a business works.

    We are looking for a positive energy and persuasive communications with the maturity and credibility to successfully handle all situations and a wide range of personalities in a working environment. Evidence of the ability to plan and organise activities and to juggle priorities is also essential.

    Other personal qualities will include being a self-starter, self- motivated, having a determined attitude, a strong drive to succeed and the ability to use initiative in a team environment. A high standard of spoken and written English and numeracy is important plus cogent verbal reasoning skills.
