    You will be part of a specialist Financial Crime MI and Systems team supporting the system testing, rule analysis, and creation of MI including regulatory reporting.

    You will be reporting to Financial Crime System Threat and MI manager who is responsible for Financial Crime Analytics, Systems, Intelligence, MI production and regulatory reporting.

    You will be working very closely with Intelligence, Data, Fraud, AML, and Risk teams. Using your knowledge of systems, MI, and financial crime, you will help support the team and wider function.

    About the Role

    • Develop accurate financial crime reporting and ensure MI is delivered to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
    • Proactively create rules and scorecard analysis for financial crime systems and controls
    • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of financial crime systems through ongoing testing and monitoring
    • Utilise your analytical skills, to collect, prepare, analyse, and interpret large datasets; use the information to develop trends and make recommendations
    • Effectively gather and analyse MI and data requirements for value driven reporting solutions, ensuring detailed documentation of requirements and a clear sign off process
    • Design and deliver reporting solutions built and presented in tools such as SAS, SQL, and Tableau
    • Proactively look for ways to automation/rationalise existing reports and enhancements to our technology.
    • Develop a good understanding of the financial crime risks and typologies relevant to YBS

    About You

    • Ability to carry out data analysis using SAS or SQL
    • Knowledge of data visualisation tool such as Tableau or Power BI
    • Strong communication skills to present the data analysis clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing to a variety of stakeholders including non-technical.
    • Knowledge in financial crime risk including experience of AML, KYC, Sanctions and Fraud retail banking products and the UK regulatory environment
