The role of a Graduate Quantity Surveyor is a vital one as you will help ensure that commercial targets and standards relating to management of assets across a wide asset base of water and wastewater assets. This will ensure that we provide our customers with a wholesome water supply that everyone can enjoy.
Where you’ll fit in
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- You will be part of a team carrying out commercial and contract management across a diverse supply chain.
- You will ensure that contracting processes, procedures and governance are complied with.
- You will develop skills in contract administration for construction contracts.
- You will be monitoring and supporting cost controls, including assessment of interim and final accounts.
- You will be managing contract and contractor performance including escalated issues and disputes.
- You will be part of risk management processes.
- You will be involved in developing and managing both regulated and below threshold procurement activity.
- You will identify and deliver continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Minimum 2:1 Bachelors degree in a Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar discipline.
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence (maximum of 6 points)
- Enthusiasm and a drive to succeed.
