    Job description

    You will be running and supporting fast-turnaround research projects on a whole host of topics, which is a part of YouGov’s Client Service offering. You will support Research/Senior Research Executives on larger and complex projects.

    The role relies on excellent communication skills; you’ll be working closely with other YouGov teams as well as directly with clients to design and deliver research which hits the brief and is clear and unbiased.

    Your key focus will be:

    • The ability to identify the key needs of a client and as a result design robust, quantitative questionnaires which answers these needs
    • The ability to recommend accurate, client-focused solutions on projects for mainly Omnibus-/CEM clients and agencies
    • The understanding of the principles on sampling and weighting
    • The design and interpretation of cross-tabulation analysis, data filtering, and merging variables
    • The ability to run multiple market research projects simultaneously (including client contact, survey design and data reporting)
    • The ability to set timetables, monitor progress, and suggest appropriate actions when challenges arise

    Qualifications

    Demonstrated knowledge and experience

    • Excellent written and spoken English
    • Basic understanding of statistics is preferable
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver results, meet deadlines and manage time effectively
    • Problem-solving, analytical and numerical skills

    Technical skills and qualifications

    • Educated up to degree / HND level in a relevant subject desirable
    • Working proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
