Our UK Marketing and Communications team play a meaningful role in telling our story and engaging our employees and external stakeholders, including customers, the media and key decision markers.
About the role
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Lead for the UK, this role will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment where you will contribute to our marketing and communication efforts.
Embark on your 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic internship programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. We will set you up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience for your professional career in marketing and communications.
Here is a taste of what you can expect from this internship:
- Developing copywriting, creativity, and design skills for generating engaging content for newsletters and social media channels including LinkedIn and Twitter.
- Helping create and deliver key external PR and exciting marketing campaigns.
- Supporting internal communications and employee engagement programmes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment internally and externally.
- Helping other departments with video creation and editing
- Writing copy for a range of channels including the intranet, award entries, press releases and advertising
Who you are
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
- Aiming towards or having achieved a 2:1 or above in a marketing or communications degree.
- You think logically, are willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
- You work independently, safely and responsibly; taking ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
- You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in social media platforms and content creation.
- Experience in using social media channels – Teams, SharePoint and video production / editing knowledge would be advantageous.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates initiative, passion, and an ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
- Professional, friendly personality, well-presented and able to act as an ambassador for the company.
