The role
We are recruiting for our 2-year Graduate Programme, starting in September 2024. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain real skills by working on real projects with the opportunity to develop a career with a well-established, global logistics company.
As a part of the Yusen Graduate Programme, you will complete a number of placements in different UK locations, usually starting from Northampton/Milton Keynes area and therefore, you will need to be flexible and be prepared to move locations during the programme.
Our graduates typically complete various placements, allowing them to build a comprehensive knowledge of the business (each of them lasting 3-6 months):
- Warehousing
- Transport
- International Freight Forwarding
- Healthcare
- Business solutions
- Continuous Improvement
You will also be supported with formal and on the job training and be matched to a high level Mentor and Buddy. This is a great opportunity to add value to the business and gain the skills and knowledge to advance your career prospects within a fast-paced Logistics business.
The role will offer a salary of £29,000 per annum,
Key Requirements
- Applicants must achieve 2:2 Logistics degree (NOVUS or NOVUS Lite ideally) or business degree, anticipated graduation date of summer 2024 for a start in September 2024
- Passion and motivation to start and develop a career within the Logistics & Supply Chain industry in the UK market
- Willing to take on responsibility from day one
- Flexible in approach to working styles, shifts, roles, and locations across the UK
- Great team work skills
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence at the start of the programme
- Excellent communication skills
