The role

As a Market Insight Analyst, you will lead the macro environment analytics, including potential impacts to control tower activities.

Monitoring and updating Yusen Control Tower personnel and Healthcare clients, you will share key regulatory, judicial and industry issues and decisions that affect the pharmaceutical supply chain industry.

You will assess internal and external business information, processes and associated issues, determining requirements and providing recommendations to improve insights and shaping solutions.

Additionally, you will

  • Undertake detailed data analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
  • Proactively monitor and update the Yusen Control Tower and Healthcare clients on key regulatory, judicial and industry issues and decisions that affect the pharmaceutical supply chain industry.
  • Prepare detailed market intelligence reports.
  • Documentation management of business, technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Actively contribute to the planning and execution of testing.
  • Be a subject matter expert in the field of Data Analytics, contributing to the continuous improvement of the Yusen Control Tower through development of Data Analysis competencies.

About you

To be considered as a Market Insight Analyst, you will need:

  • Experience using structured methodologies to enable requirements elicitation, requirements management and insights through data
  • A levels in Mathematics, English and Science subject. Computer Science or related subject preferable, although other STEM subjects may be considered
  • Experience of producing BI dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience of working with relational databases (eg SQL Server, MySQL, Python) and system architecture
  • Experience of analysing large volumes of data to identify recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Cost/benefit analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
