We are reinforcing our Product Cyber Security team by offering a 12 Month Student Placement (£18,500 per year) at Blythe Valley Park, Solihull starting in September 2023.
This engaging placement offers the opportunity to be part of the Product Cyber Security team within Division A (Steering / Braking). Responsibilities include the ongoing development and execution of the Division A Vulnerability Analysis and other security processes from the viewpoint of an “ethical hacker”.
Your tasks:
- Ongoing development and execution of the Division A Vulnerability Analysis process
- Review of Penetration Test process and results
- Provide inputs to the Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) process
- Involvement in other Product Cyber Security activities as appropriate
Your profile:
- Studying towards a Degree in Cyber Security (ideally with Automotive specific content) or related field, having successfully completed at least 2 years of their degree course before the start of the placement
- Knowledge of embedded C programming
- Competent use of productivity tools including MS Office
- Skilful people co-ordination and communication skills
- Prepared to adapt to new working environments, methodologies and tools
