    Your opportunity   

    Our 10-week internship programme will give you the opportunity to be involved in a variety of Finance related activities, which will help you build career enhancing skills and enable you to make an informed decision about a future career with Zurich. You’ll have a unique opportunity to work in a real-life business environment, gaining invaluable knowledge, skills and experience as well as unrivalled exposure into how a leading multi-national insurance company operates. 

    We want our Interns to understand how Finance operates across the UK and how the work in Finance enables us as a business to better support our customers. You’ll also see how diversity and inclusion is baked into our business and how this evolves decision-making, drives innovative solutions, and makes us quite different from any other organisation. 

    Successful completion of your summer internship in 2024 could lead to you being offered a place on one of our graduate programmes starting in 2025.

    What can I look forward to?  

    As a Finance intern, you’ll gain knowledge and experience in a real-life business environment with tasks involving one or more of the following: Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, Business Partnering, Strategic Finance, Finance Transformation and Expense Analysis.  You could be placed in one or more of these Finance teams throughout your 10-week internship, which will allow you to gain a great understanding of the different areas of Finance and to be involved in meaningful project work for a range of stakeholders.  

    The is all underpinned by a 10-week structured development programme as well as the chance to work on a UK-wide intern project where you will work with other interns across the business. 

    We are passionate about ensuring you settle into the working environment effectively and offer a buddy/mentor at the very start, who will be someone who has been in your shoes. 

    Our Finance internships are a 10-week programme; likely start will be mid-late June.

    What you’ll need

    • Be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study and predicted minimum 2:1 degree (or the equivalent)  
    • At least 96 UCAS points – CCC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects excluding general studies 
    • A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE 
    • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
