Successful completion of your summer internship in 2024 could lead to you being offered a place on one of our graduate programmes starting in 2025.
What can I look forward to?
We want you to achieve your full potential and that’s why our internship programme is designed to build on your university studies. You'll join one of our Risk Engineering Teams and work with experienced colleagues to build a strong understanding in Zurich’s risk management process. Assisting with risk insight, influencing customer decisions and developing your technical knowledge, as well as having the opportunity to engage with the teams and colleagues right across ZRS. You'll build a wide and diverse network across the practice allowing you to enhance and test your knowledge.
This will help you build a great foundation for your future career.
This is all under pinned by a 10-week structured development programme as well as the chance to work on a UK-wide intern project where you will work with other interns across the business.
To ensure you have the best start, a dedicated buddy will be on-hand to support you throughout your summer with us. Our internships are a 10-week programme; likely start will be mid-late June.

What you’ll need
- Be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study and predicted minimum 2:1 degree, ideally in an Engineering degree such as civil, chemical, mechanical or fire risk.
- At least 96 UCAS points – CCC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects
- A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to study for further professional qualifications
