We recently caught up with Bright Network member, Maddy after she secured a graduate role with Vodafone as a business analyst. Here, she offers some insight into the process.
Vodafone Group appeals to me for numerous reasons. As a company, it offers such great opportunities, allowing you to work in a variety of different areas. I am really passionate about technology and the positive impact it can have across the world. Vodafone Group is equally passionate about giving you the tools to reach your full potential and there are lots of progression opportunities within the business. Vodafone is determined to give back to the communities around the world and has a very sustainable outlook. It is a role where you get to work with people from many different communities around the world - building relationships with them and finding solutions for them. It is a fast-paced working environment where I will be challenged on a daily basis.
For me, the video interview was the most challenging aspect of the application because the questions are not what you would expect them to be. In terms of my favourite part, I actually enjoyed the assessment centre because it was great to meet current Vodafone employees. The day was very informative and organised.
For other members interested in similar roles, the best advice I can give you is do your research, be passionate and don't give up!
