Our popular ‘How to…’ event series returns for the 2020/21 academic year, giving you sector specific advice and guidance from industry professionals. Running for 6 weeks, this series will allow you to gain insight into a range of industries and how their application process works, with the opportunity to have your key questions answered.

What is How to get into the Charity & Public Sector?

This event will provide you with an overview of the industry as told by professionals working within it, with advice and guidance for your upcoming applications. Our speaker will provide an outline of the sector, discussing their personal experience and the key features of an application. A panel of Bright Network Alumni will then answer your questions, giving you an insight into life with charity and the public sector, and how to secure your place there.

3:30 p.m. – 3:50 p.m.:    Welcome & Keynote Speech from the National Audit Office

3:50 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.:    Skills session from Bank of England.

4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.:    Bright Network Alumni Panel from firms Police Now, Unlocked, Think Ahead, Teach First and Frontline.
