Take a look at the recruitment process below to make sure you’re clear on each of the stages we want you to complete.

Our online application form gives you the chance to tell us a little bit about yourself and the Graduate or Intern Scheme that you’re interested in. You will be required to upload a CV and optional cover letter and answer 3 competency-based questions aligned to our company values. (200-word limit per question)

Video Interview

If you meet the requirements of the first stage, you will progress to the video interview stage of the application process which you will be sent a video link hosted by an external Provider Sonru.

The video interview will allow us to assess your key competencies as well as your fit to the scheme in which you have applied.

Upon receiving the video link, you have 72 hours to complete the video interview. This can be completed on any desktop, tablet or mobile device.

You will be required to record and answer 3 competency-based question. 1 minute per question and 2 minutes to add any further comments you may wish to add.

Should you require an extension, or any reasonable adjustments please email - gwsnextgencareers@cbre.com

Please take note of the guidance in the email you receive before completing the video interview.

Assessment Centers If your video interview is successful, you will be invited to a face-to-face assessment center which is the final round of the selection process. This is a chance for us to meet you in person and provide further information about CBRE as a business and the role you have applied for. This is also a great time for you to network with what could be your future colleagues and ask any questions you may have about life at CBRE.

The assessment center runs for approx. 5 -6 hours. You will hear from senior leaders of the business, understand CBRE GWS as a company, understand the pathway and programme you have applied to and be shown a video hearing the experiences from our current cohort of graduates and interns.

There are a number of exercises that take place on the day to assess the full range of skills and personal attributes required.

  • Group Exercise – as a group you will be presented with a topic in which you will need to pitch and present back to a group of assessors.
  • Individual Presentation – you will be presented with a topic on day in which you will be a given an allocated amount of time to research information and present back to a pair of assessors.
  • Some form of competency-based interview

You will receive full instructions ahead of the day of how to prepare for the assessment center and how to get the most out of the day.
