Open to all degree types, graduating in 2026, interested in working in Birmingham

This event is targeted at students from any degree discipline who are interested in working in Birmingham and will give students an insight into the working culture at HSBC.

Join us at our UK Headquarters (HQ) in Birmingham to understand what career options are available to students in Birmingham, and get a headstart on a potential 2025 Summer Internship application.

Our HQ is the home of two of our four core business lines; Commercial Banking and Retail Banking (Wealth & Personal Banking).

Commercial Banking is our UK business-to-business operation, and Retail Banking (Wealth & Personal Banking) is our UK business-to-customer operation.

On the day, we’ll be giving you an insight into what these areas do, and what opportunities are on offer within these for students. You’ll meet with a variety of individuals from our Recruitment team for advice on the application process, and current on-programme Graduates who will give you a realistic taste of what a career with HSBC in Birmingham can offer.

Please note, there are no Technology, Investment, or Wealth opportunities in Birmingham at present (Digital Business Services, Global Banking & Markets, Asset Management, Private Banking). Any students interested in these career pathways should consider either Sheffield or London insight events.
