Does AAB sound like a good fit for you? We have a vacancy for a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team at AAB. One of the key focus areas of this role will be email marketing which will give you an opportunity to lead and develop a growing area of focus across AAB Group and all businesses within it.

The role

Main Duties Include:

  • Provide email marketing support to AAB Group, and all businesses within it.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand key messages and goals, advising on the best content activities to bring these to life across campaigns and channels.
  • Provide email marketing support to AAB Group by creating compelling campaigns, newsletters, and automated emails.
  • Manage lead generation workflows including the process of managing leads, enquiries, and follow up.
  • Research new and engaging email marketing tools and techniques and analyse competitor activity to enhance current practices across AAB Group, ensuring all areas of the Group are working in a consistent and streamlined manner.
  • Carry out performance reporting to measure effectiveness of all email marketing activity, analysing results to inform best practice.
  • Collaborate with other team members to establish best practice for omni-channel cross over.
  • Support brand development and implementation ensuring the AAB brand guidelines are maintained across all channels.
  • Manage the cascade of news and important information across AAB Group.
  • As a member of the AAB Group Marketing Team there will be a requirement to assist the marketing, events and business development team with additional tasks and projects as they arise.

Experience and skill set required for the role

  • Experience of digital marketing communications, social media and/or content creation, including measurement and reporting.
  • Excellent proofreading skills across multiple formats.
  • A client focused and results driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities.
  • The ability to work effectively across functions – a good relationship builder at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to develop ideas into practice.
