The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join our Quality team. Throughout your placement, you will find yourself:

  • Support the QA function with Batch Approval processes and management of projects within ADC Witney, ensuring projects milestones are met on time in full.
  • Supporting the ADC Witney QS Improvement plan to ensure continual improvement and effectiveness of the Quality System in accordance with divisional and corporate requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Assisting the development and implementation of continuous improvements plans
  • Supporting Quality Audit Readiness through identifying and remediating audit risks.
  • Supporting the planning and organising of external Quality audits.
  • Collaborating as part of cross functional project teams by providing guidance and offering solutions for the timely and cost effective improvement projects.
  • Participating in project teams in order to ensure that changes to existing products and processes are made in compliance with ADC quality system requirements
  • Responsible for supporting the gathering and analyzing data for post market surveillance activities for on market products and to analyse quality data, processes and procedures to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the investigation of non-conforming events and identification of corrective action to prevent occurrence.
  • Supporting administration and projects for the core quality management systems responsibly for maintain Training and Document Control

About you

You should be studying for a degree in an engineering or sciences field, and be seeking a year in industry placement as part of your qualification.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a team and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment. You will need to have good oral and written communication skills to be able to prepare reports and technical documents. You must be organised and flexible in your approach to work, with good attention to detail in order to ensure that data and analyses are accurate and meet the requirements of the project.
