About the role

We have a new exciting opportunity for an Intern to join Acast on a paid sales planning internship on a fixed term 12 month contract. This is a great opportunity to get to know and gain some hands - on experience from one of the most exciting tech and advertising companies in the world.

As a Sales Planning intern, you will gain an interesting overview of Acast's podcaster mission and wider business operation practices. You will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the commercial team tasked with understanding the opportunities for alignment of brands with podcasters. As well as ensuring a smooth process from a client brief being received through to handing over the booked campaign to the Campaign Managers.

There is also an opportunity for this role to turn permanent!

What you'll do?

You will collaborate with the Sales and Business Operations team as part of the UK Planning team - in particular following the pre sale process end to end, including administrative duties to support both Sellers and the Campaign Management team. Another working task could be building plans to be sent to agencies and brands to be included in their advertising and marketing campaigns and shadow members of the sales team, attending meetings, brainstorming and note taking.

You will communicate directly with advertisers and creators and liaise with podcasters on the suitability of their inclusion on pitches; through to booking, trafficking and reporting campaigns.

Who you are?

You are a self-motivated, proactive, creative, desire to learn person who enjoy working as part of a team. You have the ability to prioritize effectively and attention to detail is a key attribute that you have.

We think you are driven and passionate and great at Excel. You are highly organized being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills while retaining a cool head under time pressures.
