Your responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, verification, and validation of test methods
  • Assist in the trial and validation of new technology and equipment
  • Write scientific reports, including the statistical analysis of data
  • Complete training in laboratory procedures
  • Present the findings of projects to stakeholders
  • Accompany the Company Microbiologist to relevant meetings, audits, and industry events
  • Organise and plan projects to ensure completion within target deadlines
  • Work with the laboratory team to ensure laboratory standards and accreditation is maintained

Your profile

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy and precision
  • IT literate with good level of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with colleagues throughout all levels of the organisation
  • Curiosity in the field of probiotics with the desire to enhance knowledge
  • Affinity for problem-solving and innovation
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Studying for a Microbiology Degree, or other degree where microbiology forms part of the curriculum
