Admiral manages in excess of 3000 suppliers, a new sub team is being formed within Group Procurement to understand the risks our suppliers present and to form the assurance and governance capability we need as an organisation to understand and manage the risks.

We are looking for a Risk Analyst to work closely with all Procurement professionals within the company and Contract Owners who have a shared responsibility to manage the supplier network effectively.

This is an exciting time to join Group Procurement, we have a significant project underway to review all elements of what we do and how we do it and Third Party Risk is an area of focus hence the new team being formed.

Main duties

Your role will report to the Third Party Risk Manager within Group Procurement and will be to support all parts of the business in areas such as:

  • Monitor and identify improvements to existing processes to enhance the service of the team.
  • Provide accurate, timely and insightful reporting of data, information, and analysis to facilitate good decision-making, driving the Supply Chains performance and profitability.
  • Build and generate presentation material for various related forums.
  • Become the go-to support for the Contract Management System including the delivery of basic training for internal staff.
  • Champion and run a forum with business contacts on maintaining data accuracy for the Contract Management System.
  • Generate and produce analysis of spend data to support the Sourcing team with the identification of opportunities and risks in our current supply chain
  • Provide support to internal customers on supply chain risk queries.
  • Provide recommendations for minimum baseline controls to be implemented and ensure non-conformities are documented and that remediation plans are agreed with risk owners to agreed timelines
  • Support, where required, Admiral Group entities with technology queries
  • Act as a champion for Group Procurement information and maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism
  • Support project initiatives on an ongoing basis
  • Collating information to help create monthly review/update packs to share with the Group Procurement team and the wider stakeholder network.
  • Supporting with updating Admiral’s contract management system (Atamis) by liaising with the product suppling entities
  • Managing end to end MSD supplier onboarding activities (backfill Supply Chain Executive)

  • Confident using Microsoft packages and willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to work to deadlines and be able to prioritise workload effectively
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
