The Role

Advisian is seeking a Chemical Engineering graduate for a role within our regional Energy Chemicals Resource business.  Our team of specialist consultants operate across the energy transition, fuels, chemicals, power, gas, and low carbon sectors.

The selected graduate will join a diverse team providing energy consulting services. You will join our team of consultants and work on real projects such as pre-feasibility studies, technical due diligence for acquisitions, process technology selection, licensor selection, development of financial models, price prediction tools, and configuration studies for greenfield or brownfield facilities all around the world.

Recent studies our team have conducted include developing the Regional Decarbonization Plan for a country in north Africa, to conducting the Pre-Feasibility Study for a Green Hydrogen and Ammonia facility in southern Ireland.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the selected graduates will demonstrate good all-round technical capabilities and a willingness to participate.  The positions will be based at our offices situated in London, UK.

The key attributes and skills required are:

  • Degree or Masters in Chemical Engineering
  • Proven desire to work in the energy sector
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and adapt
  • Possess a “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong team player and communication skills
  • Ability to manage large data sets and analyse to support arguments
  • Demonstrate digital skills for developing tools and services
