Underwriting Summer Internship 2022

Our underwriting summer internships are a brilliant chance to get some practical experience and help you make more informed decisions about your future career.

As one of our underwriting summer interns you’ll be working at the very heart of our business -where we evaluate risks so we can choose if, how, when and at what premium we’ll insure. This internship offers you the opportunity to work closely with underwriters at the very top of their specialist field. You’ll quickly develop an understanding of how to approach the evaluation of risks, as well as how to foster strong relationships with our broker clients. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a range of technical, commercial and leadership skills that are vital to your development and the business.

To top it all off, we’ll pay you a competitive salary and, subject to a successful performance review, you may have the chance to fast track your application for one of our graduate schemes.

What you'll need

• Penultimate or final year of honours degree in any discipline
• On target for a 2:1 level or above
• Valid work permit for permanent work in the UK without restrictions after graduation

Location 

You could be based in any of our UK Offices. If you do have a location preference then please make this clear in your application. Please note that London will not be an option for the summer internship.
