Interns are treated as members of the APCO family – working with staff at all levels, participating in client work, pitches, and collaborating with fellow interns and staff. You will have a well-rounded experience that includes social events, networking, team building, mentorship, information seminars and training.

We are looking for an intern to work with our Global Solutions team on a variety of campaigns and accounts. In London we work for a number of international clients across various sectors and public institutions and agencies. 

The ideal candidate would have an interest in global political and economic affairs, international events and campaigns, have excellent writing skills and be able to learn about new topics quickly. Experience or knowledge in law or corporate intelligence is desirable but not essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting our Global Solutions client teams across a variety of accounts
  • Conducting research and monitoring projects
  • Drafting written content including press releases, opinion editorials, blogs, social media content
  • Preparing first drafts of agendas, contact reports and activity reports, etc.
  • Keeping up to date with current trends and news related to APCO’s clients

The successful candidate 

  • A genuine interest in international affairs, geopolitics, and global trends
  • Someone with a passion for and interest in the communications space and will thrive on the variety and diversity of agency life
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys working with a team with strong organisational skills
