Essential

  • Experience working within a project risk management role.
  • Confidence in analysing and reporting project risks and costs.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
  • An understanding of how risk management integrates with other Project Management and Project Controls disciplines including cost estimating, project planning and contract administration.

Desirable

  • Experience in risk assessment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Project.
  • Quantity Surveying qualification.
  • An understanding of the Value Management process and how it is applied on projects.

Responsibilities

The following reflects typical duties and is not intended to be a comprehensive description of all tasks required by the Client under this commission.

  • Assist the Risk & Value Manager with the development and implementation of a best practice framework for Risk and Value Management.
  • Support Project and Programme Managers with the development of Risk and Benefits Management documentation to ensure a consistent approach in accordance with procedures and standards.
  • Facilitate and support Risk and Benefit Management workshops including guidance and advice on identification, assessment, analysis and reporting.
  • Run Quantitative Risk Assessment analysis using bespoke risk software and prepare reports.
  • Analyse and benchmark project costs with industry or historical data.
  • Facilitated and maintain a centralised project priority model based on benefits, costs and risk assessment.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on risk and benefits categorisation, profiles and trends across Translink's programmes and projects.
  • Undertake quality assurance of risk management for projects ensuring adherence to procedure.
  • Undertake quality assurance for value (cost and benefits) management for projects ensuring adherence to procedure.
  • Review of programme and project Business Cases and Post Project Evaluations providing assurance on the quality of risk and benefit inputs.
