In the Ava Security video UI team we work on multiple web-based projects using mainly Typescript and Vue, along with two mobile apps using Swift and Kotlin; though we work with code using a wide variety of different languages and frameworks.

The Role

The role can be flexible based on your experience, preferences and what we’re working on at any particular time. It is not expected that you would be familiar with any of the languages we use, but you should be enthusiastic and willing to learn new things. You will make a defining contribution to the development of our new disruptive product which is a next-generation Physical Security Management System.

Our UI incorporates a wide range of challenging features including an innovative display of real-time threat monitoring across a three-dimensional geographical space, advanced search rules that target historical data, the configuration of machine learning features and intelligent system configuration and management.

Every new graduate hire is assigned a mentor, who will be a senior member of the team. Your mentor will be responsible for overseeing your development through the first few years of your career and ensuring that you are given the necessary support and guidance. Your mentor will also be responsible for ensuring that you will gain experience in a number of different areas.

From day one, graduate software engineers will be given the opportunity to become responsible for designing and developing a key part of the product. You will quickly gain experience across the full software development lifecycle from design through coding, testing, and support across a wide range of technologies and languages.
