Responsibilities

  • Understands project management responsibility for all workstreams, deliverables, timescales and budgets
  • Helps support internal consultancy and technical teams along with external suppliers and client teams to deliver the project to agreed time, cost and scope
  • Develops detailed project plans, utilising both internal resources and external partners, and manages the project in terms of cost and duration – tracks resource utilisation and adapts the project plan accordingly
  • Translates technical, business, and functional requirements into project tasks - manages all tasks, timetables, budgets and project deliverables
  • Proactively identifies risks to the project delivery and proposes actions to mitigate - flags problems early and works with the teams within the project to get these resolved, escalating where necessary
  • Provides quality control across the full project lifecycle
  • Responsible for implementing an effective PMO structure, aligned to the needs of the project - develops and delivers an effective suite of project reports, including status updates, RAID Log and resource tracking
  • Provides regular and concise updates to the project leadership, sponsors and Steering Committee, clearly calling out risks and decisions required
  • Develops a communication plan to support each phase of the project, tailored to different stakeholder groups
  • Organises effective workshops with internal and external parties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Management/Computer Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related program
  • One (1) or more years of related experience in external consulting experience with a large consulting firm,  including design and implementation of  ERP or similar solutions
  • Experience of delivering medium to large ERP Projects
  • Highly organized with excellent planning and project management skills
  • Experienced in co-ordinating diverse project teams, comprised of both internal resources and external partners
  • Ideally experience of co-ordinating teams across multiple countries
  • Able to positively influence others and to break down silos
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with resilience to overcome challenges
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal - able to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Able to solve problems and identify the key issues in complex situations
  • Brings energy and focus to the team - able to identify priorities, control scope and keep the project team centred on the critical tasks
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
