Does HS2 offer sponsorship if I do not have the Right to Work in the UK?
To be eligible to apply to the HS2 Graduate scheme for our September 2022 in-take, any applicant will need to already have the unrestricted Right to Work in the UK (i.e. not requiring sponsorship). HS2 are not in a position to sponsor any applications as we do not hold the required sponsorship licence from the UK Home Office. Please note, we cannot accept applications from anyone holding the recently introduced Post Study Work visa. We appreciate the Right to Work question can be complex to understand, particularly with recent changes around Brexit, if you are unsure of your Right to Work status, please email us at HS2Jobs@hs2.org.uk and we will be happy to advise further. Please note, your Right to Work status will be validated early in the process for HS2 to comply with UK Home Office policy.
Timelines for the campaign?
The Applications window closes on 17th January 2022. Once you submit your application, the first assessment (2x on-line tests - Intellect Test and a Values Fit Assessment) will be sent you in early January. The subsequent selection process will include a mixture of video interviews taking place throughout February and March. As it currently stands there are no face-to-face assessments planned due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic. Post interview, we will work as quickly as possible to issue offers to successful candidates first. For non-successful applicants, the outcome of your application will be available no later than April/May. The start date of the HS2 Graduate Programme is September 2022.
