What you'll be doing:
- Working within a culture of Zero Harm – embedding the 4 Golden Rules within all aspects of service delivery
- Report all observations – Close Calls and Good Practices
- Select and undertake appropriate work methods to ensure the work is completed right first time
- Ensure that work activities meet project work requirements
- Develop and improve current processes/systems and implement innovative ideas
- Responding to customer enquiries and liaison with Highways Inspectors
- To liaise with the Core Service Manager to ensure the delivery of key jobs
- To ensure the partnership is fully compliant with the relevant highways licence legislation, including Highways Act, New Roads & Street Works Act, and Traffic Management Act.
- To support on Enforcement action of Network Management related policies and procedures
- To establish and build positive customer relationships, with a range of different stakeholders, including Senior Management, Ward Councillors, and organisation leaders.
- To support other BBLP contracts, and the wider business group on Network Management related issues.
- Provide customer service in construction
This role will be based in Southampton.
Who we're looking for:
- A minimum of 2:2 in a construction related degree
- To be able to work with digital highways management systems (Confirm, KaarbonTech)
- To be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Eligibility to live and work in the Uk at the time of joining
- Ideally a full UK drivers license to at the time of joining
