Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Developer to join our Rail team to work in Sheffield.
Who you are
Youve likely got a background or strong interest in coding, building data-driven online systems or desktop and mobile applications, or have experience in system architecture, database design or general systems integration.

What you'll be doing
You will have the following accounabilities:
- Application development both web and mobile.
- Participate as a junior team member in fully agile Scrum deliveries.
- Identifying and delivering ways to integrate systems to eliminate double data entry and automate data flows between applications.
Who we're looking for
The following experience/qualifcations are required:-
- C# / .NET Core / Xamarin
- HTML, JavaScript and web development frameworks (Bootstrap, JQuery)
- AWS, Azure cloud platforms including Azure DevOps.
- A real-world understanding of MSSQL, PL/SQL or others
- Database design
- REST API design
- Containerisation, Micro Services
