This is a fantastic opportunity for you to kick-start you career in Technology. Spending your summer as a Developer with us will allow you to grow and develop your technical skills. You will have the chance to work on technology initiatives and contribute to digital advancements that change lives and solve financial challenges. You'll be constantly supported throughout your internship by some of the brightest minds in the industry.

What to expect

Over one summer, you’ll gain extraordinary exposure, collaborating with the leading innovators behind services such as Pingit, Talking ATMs, and bPay to leading platforms including BARX - Barclays’ cross-asset electronic trading platform. As well as learning from our team’s expertise, you’ll start to build your own, taking on real projects and responsibilities early on. You'll work in a collaborative environment where we bring to life and implement new ideas from our technology masterminds.

How you'll develop

Our Summer Developer programme will help you pave the foundation of your future career, by exposing you to the right mix of technical knowhow, business acumen and soft skills training.

No two days will ever be the same! Your internship programme will be varied throughout to ensure that you not only learn the skills you need to thrive in your specific role, but have the opportunity to network and gain an insight into a career in technology.

We allow you to do this through work shadowing, workshops, interactive skills sessions, project work and networking opportunities.  The best part about it? You could be offered a graduate role at the end of your internship.
