Exciting opportunity to join Beazley’s successful Cyber Risks team in our London office.
We are looking for three interns to join our Cyber division for a period of 6 weeks, during the summer of 2024 (15 July – 23 August). The closing date to apply for this role is 01 March 2024. Successful candidates will be contacted at the beginning of March, with securing positions before Easter 2024.

Responsibilities
This role will see you working in teams across the cyber division, from Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Cyber Services to Underwriting Management. You will gain exposure to insurance and its key performance measures and will learn from and work alongside our team of highly experienced underwriters and claims professionals, supporting them with the following duties:
- Completing risk documentation
- Conduct online research on the risk
- Financial analysis of key risks measures
- Drafting of risk exposure profiles
- Preparation and analysis of standardized insurance conditions
- Evaluation of client databases to support portfolio management
- Review of claims management process
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested by the underwriting team
- Participate in cross-team and intra-team projects
- Develop knowledge of the underwriting community and the Beazley network to ensure dissemination of best practice
- Assist with the production of presentations and marketing literature as required
- This opportunity with Beazley offers the chance to analyse corporate and portfolio data relating to commercial and financial institutions in preparation of risk analyses.
Part of this internship will include:
- Preparation and taking the LM1 exam
- Working on projects as a team including group project and presentation on trending cyber topics
- Connecting and working with our US Cyber Risks interns
- Utilising the team’s vast experience via our buddy scheme
