Our programme is designed to give you the opportunity to develop both the technical and commercial skills required to lead within Berry bpi.  During the programme graduates may specialise in either the technical or commercial areas of the business based on your skills and preferences.  

What Can You Expect/What You’ll Do?

The programme lasts 24 months during which you may complete rotations within the following functions:

  • Commercial
  • Operations
  • Purchasing
  • Technical/Innovation
  • Business Improvement

You will also be given the opportunity to move around different locations which may include an international placement.

  • Improving the optimisation of our operations
  • Implementing pioneering technology
  • Shaping our corporate social responsibility agenda by organising divisional events
  • Supporting the introduction of new products to the market

You will be supported to develop your own area of expertise through a combination of digital learning, on-the-job training and practical skills development.  

You will also take part in the Berry UK and European International Graduate Development programme where you will develop a broader set of leadership skills whilst getting to network with our 2021 graduates.  

Alongside your rotations, you’ll get support from our leaders, technical specialists and your own dedicated buddy (a recent graduate) and mentor. 

You will have regular conversations at the end of each rotation with HR and your line manager where you will have the opportunity to discuss your development needs and evolving career aspirations.

What You’ll Need

Any STEM degree, or a joint honours that combines a STEM subject with another like business or economics. 

We are looking for people with:

  • A passion for sustainability and continuous improvement
  • Resilience and a collaborative and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Initiative, drive and adaptability to advance your desired career, with support from our leaders

You need to have the right to work in the UK and be able to relocate for placements which could be based in any of our UK locations.  

You will also need to be willing to undertake an international placement for 6 months.
